

College | Pro Athlete Breakout Sessions and Schedule
Purpose: To educate, evaluate and develop mentally tough and professionally prepared athletes.
Mission: Players will learn directly from and be evaluated by coaches and scouts with over 30 years of experience in college and professional sports. Through classroom sessions, sport-science testing, and live evaluations, athletes will gain the knowledge, feedback, and exposure needed to advance in the game while strengthening their leadership skills.

Session 1: Welcome and Introduction: Building a Career with Character (Combined All-Participant)
Day: Day 1

Overview:
This session challenges every participant—athletes, coaches, and parents—to redefine success through integrity, discipline, and faith. Dr. David Angeron shares real-world insights from athletics and leadership, emphasizing how true greatness is measured by character, not comparison.

Session 2: MLB Draft & Scouting Process – What Scouts Look For and How They Evaluate

Session 4: Getting Paid to Play – Budgeting, Expectations, and Sports as a Career

Playing professionally is both a dream and a job. This session educates athletes on the financial realities of professional sports—from pay structures and budgeting to managing expectations and career longevity. Participants will learn how to treat their athletic career like a business grounded in discipline and stewardship.
