Mike McDaniel

Director of Baseball Operations

Mike McDaniel is currently the Head Baseball Coach at John Melvin Christian College – Winter Park, and heavily involved in the baseball community in Central Florida, and around The United States. With McDaniel’s variety of experiences in baseball it will bring many positive attributes to Mangos Baseball and we are excited to add Coach Mack to the organization.

As a coach, Mack has experience in professional, college, and high school baseball. He has had numerous players move on to organized professional baseball, and Division 1 schools. McDaniel has had the great opportunity of coaching multiple players selected in the 1st round of the MLB Draft. Also, Coach McDaniel has been lucky enough to coach a few players who have played in the Big Leagues. In professional baseball his teams made the playoffs two times, collegiately Mike helped his schools to 6 Conference Championships and a NCAA College World Series Since arriving in Florida in 2010 McDaniel’s Teams have won multiple district championships and made FHSAA Regional appearances ten times. In 2015 Olympia HS won a school record 25 games in a row and garnered a #1 National Ranking by MaxPreps during the season.

Coach McDaniel has many great relationships and contacts around the country that he will continue to nourish with John Melvin Christian College and its coaches and players.
